My next suggestion would be Fillmore! A police procedural set in middle school. Not sure who would play as who, but it could be fun.

How about a RWBY session? it seems like something that would be quite amusing.

RWBY? Yes, please! Though, season 3 might get a bit dark for Finn and Jake... And OMG Finn should totally be Jaune!
Marcy or Phoebe would be Nora, Bonnie would be Pyrrha and/or Blake... Who would everyone else be?

I recently DM'ed for the first time. It was a one-shot using dnd 5e for our usual DM and one of the usual group members while our last player was out of town. Running a session is taxing. That feeling at the very end where there is so much more of the setting and plot that you desperately want to share with your players, only to get cut off by time restraints was painful.
Ultimately: 1. I'm sure I'll get to continue this eventually. 2. I feel like my plan going into the session was decent. And 3. I know several things I need to work on to improve things for my players in the future.
So I sympathize with Finn here. There are so many moving parts when you're DMing. If you feel like one of the cornerstones, like the setting, is not up to snuff then stepping up to the plate would be filled with shame and fear.

This was about the only way I could justify using the pile...which I just had to for various reasons. Primarily as it's too fun an image to NOT wanna use...I wish Steven would pile more junk together.
