So in my last D&D 5e game our dm ran a massive dungeon(don’t remember the name just that it was lvl1-20 chars) so I rolled up a Druid sorcerer with maxed out cha, diplomacy, handle animal, intimidation, etc(true diplomancer style)in addition to the spells.
TL:DR- by the end of the first floor of the dungeon I had amassed an army of 20 goblins, 3 bugbears, 14 kobolds, and a purple slime.
We proceeded through the next four floors by the simple expedient of letting the slime go first, and letting the mooks clean up afterward. By the time we put the game on Hiatus due to Covid, I had managed to reduce my DM to tears with my tactics. Only Glob knows if he’ll ever open that module for me again…
