A weapon against who is another question I'd like answered. The Cluster doesn't seem mobile enough to be useful against the guerilla rebels. Is there some other empire in the universe that's going toe-to-toe with the Diamond Authority?
Lapis managed to fly through space, even without an atmosphere to provide actual lift, so I always assumed the Cluster could self-propel.
However, actually *directing* them would be a serious problem, since the Cluster doesn't seem very coherent in the show until Steven calms them down. Maybe White Diamond intended to bleach them?

I always assumed the plan was to have White Diamond assume direct control with it.
That was it could easily be directed and utilized.

Man, the ever-Logical Peridactyl really railing into YD's dumb cluster plan is brilliant, AND satisfying.
Wish her alliterative insult went event longer, tho... And I hope it really sticks with Yellow Diamond, unlike in the actual show... Like really get into her craw so bad that blue even remarks on how often Yellow brings it up when doing her usual rants about responsibility and shit.
I am definitely satisfied with this! I am very excited to see how the upcoming plot points will play out!

I was thinking of either Gravitational tethering, Bleaching, or plain propulsion. I dunno why that can't happen

So to make it not a repeat of that last panel from the start of the chapter, I added in a couple more c-words. Mostly 'cause I felt like it! Seriously though, was a bit more I wanted to have Jake/Peridot question, like how the heck they planned to USE or MOVE a gem super weapon the likes of the cluster to make USE of it after it destroys the Earth. Like was it just supposed to be a one-off with them leaving it floating there where the earth used to be? I never understood how they intended to use it AS a weapon except to 'destroy the earth with its creation'. Which is bad I'll grant you, but it was one of many things that just never made sense to me.
